The seventh edition of the Latin American Summer School on Epilepsy (LASSE) was Epilepsy (LASSE), held in Guarulhos between February 17 and 26, 2013 February 17-26, 2013, addressed a topic that is genuinely ours in epileptology: the acute symptomatic seizures and symptomatic focal epilepsies epilepsies related to tropical diseases. The text included in this issue deals with Epilepsy in the Adult.
